Our main crop of lavender, Grosso, is one of the most fragrant of the lavandins (lavandula x intermedia). Also it is the primary commercial variety for production of lavender oil. Its fragrance, large flower heads, and heavy-flowering nature make it a quality plant to grow. And fortunately for home gardeners, it makes an excellent plant that is highly adaptable throughout most of North America.
The 20 to 24 inch stems of Grosso add to the beauty of fresh bundles. Fresh cut flowers will last 7 to 10 days in a small amount of water and can then be hung upside down to dry. Our fresh bundles are are handmade and come in 2 sizes, medium 50-60 stems and large 80-90 stems.
